A bit about the role …
As our SHEQ Advisor, you’ll be responsible for providing expert advice, support and guidance to our teams and contractors to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices related to the company’s delivery of projects. You’ll have a really important role in promoting a strong safety culture across our business, as well as conducting audits and driving continuous improvement in Connolly’s SHEQ performance.

What you will be responsible for…
You’ll work with our teams to drive a robust and proactive SHEQ & Compliance culture across our business, ensuring the company maintains the Health, Safety and wellbeing of its people, the client teams, the community and the wider public. Alongside our SHEQ manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all our project activities comply with UK Health & Safety legislation and you’ll lead investigations when accidents or incidents occur and the identification of any opportunities to enhance safety performance and promote best practices across our projects.
What you’ll bring to the team…
You’ll have a NEBOSCH certification and proven experience within the construction or social housing sector. You’ll be familiar with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards and be competent in carrying out external site safety audits and analysis/review of any accidents or incidents which occur. We’re looking for someone who has a hands on, proactive approach to SHEQ management and who is happy to work independently and as part of a team in our fast paced, dynamic company.
You must hold a full UK driving License and have your own vehicle.
