World at Workday

For World at Workday, we spent the afternoon at Albion High School in Salford, with their year 9 pupils.

The session was aimed at boosting pupil’s exposure of the working world.

World of Workday is a great way for businesses came together to talk to students about different jobs, roles, industries. Students visited each representative to find out about job opportunities and career options. This activity was delivered to the entire year group and allowed all students to get a flavour of what the world of work is like, just in time for their GCSE options.

The pupils visited the Connolly station and gained an insight into the world of construction and the different roles available, including Joinery, Estimator and Customer and Social Value Roles. It was a great opportunity to talk about our real-life stories, career paths into the wonderful world of construction that is very inclusive and open to everyone.
