Cheers to 10 Years for Jordan Moir
Jordan Moir, one of our Quantity Surveyors, is celebrating his 10th anniversary at Connolly’s!
The milestone marks a decade that has seen significant career development for Jordan and also substantial company growth.
Jordan joined Connolly’s shortly after June 2012 when the head office was but a small building with no windows, paint cans and paperwork stacked high along the walls. At the time, the company consisted of Tony and Chris Connolly alongside Julie Lowe in accounts which is a phenomenal contrast to the office today, which has around 40 members of staff and three main office areas, meeting rooms and spaces and break out areas.
Jordan has worked on some of the largest contracts Connolly’s has undertaken and is a vital member of the team. His hard work and dedication to the business are second to none and we’re extremely proud of him.
Jordan said, “Connolly’s at present is a world away from the company I joined 10 years ago, and the rate of growth has been remarkable.”
“The company has grown from being a small sub-contract painting company with a turnover of around £1m into a regional main contractor now turning over £40m.”
“We have outgrown three offices in the space of just 10 years and have grown our client base significantly which in turn has contributed to large growth in employee numbers both in the office and out on site.”
“The change has been gradual over this period, and you often don’t realise the scale of the growth as it happens around you until you look back and compare two points in time.”
“Every aspect of the company has evolved throughout this timeframe and the foundations which have been set in doing so are firmly in place for this to continue over the next 5 years and onwards.”
Here’s to the next 10 years Jordan!
